Was talking with my brother about the elections when he related to us of Lim Kit Siang's brilliant campaign. (Lim Kit Siang is the head of DAP, the main opposition party)
Lim Kit Siang during his campaign:
"You all would need a balancing force in this country, a force to keep the government in check. So, who else is a better balancing force than DAP? Who else can keep the government in check? So, vote me. I'm YOUR best choice!"
Needless to say, Lim Kit Siang won with an overwhelming majority.
