Recent news about the re-emergence of SARS and chicken flu reminded me of the haze that struck Malaysia and Indonesia, as both had us wearing gas masks (those flimsy white ones). Which brings me to the incident of the gas mask
Once, after cycling to school, I arrived to class with the gas mask on. A curious friend asked for a look at the mask, so I passed it to her before doing some Prefectorial work. When I came back, the mask was just there on the table and she ignored me. Noticing something amiss, I inpected the mask and found.... a half dried mucus stuck on the insides of the mask~!
No wonder she ignored me. Sometimes it doesn't pay being a nice guy, *Sighhh*
